More subsidised training courses available

Subsidised Training List 3.1 has been released. The release coincides with the announcement of increased training subsidy rates for WorkReady providers and the launch of a new online tool to help training providers find subsidised training.

The latest update of the Subsidised Training List (STL), effective 2 January 2018, provides South Australians with access to a larger selection of subsidised courses and more choice about where they study. Around 50 additional courses, including some previously only offered by TAFE SA, will be available through private registered training organisations (RTOs) in course areas including construction, engineering, renewable energy and IT.

In addition to the availability of more training and more places, as of 1 December 2017 the subsidy rate for WorkReady training delivered by private RTOs has been increased.

A new online tool to assist training providers to navigate subsidised training opportunities has also been released.

The STL tool enables providers to easily search for subsidised courses, shortlist courses that are referred to regularly, export course lists to Excel, and see courses that will have a No New Enrolment date up to 12 months in advance.

For more information and to use the tool see Subsidised Training List.
